PAWS IN THE COMMUNITY EVENTS

We love to speak with our community!
This active group is all over Broward County promoting our shelter and our events! If you want to pick up brochures and posters or if you'd like to ask our committee questions, come visit them at one of these locations. You might even have some fun while you're there!

The Grille on the Drive

National Park(ing) Day
Friday, September 20 from 9am to 2pm - Himmarshee Street

This fun event turns urban spaces into mini park hangout spots.  The Walk for the Animals pack will be creating an enjoyable park space for you and the family to enjoy.  Don't forget to bring the furry family, too.

Barktoberfest
Saturday, October 5 & Sunday, October 6
Quiet Waters Park, 401 South Powerline Road, Deerfield Beach, FL

Humane Society of Broward County and Walk for the Animals will be on site!  Come and say hello!  Activities include doggie splash time, adoptions, Doggie Market Place, kiddie bounce houses, face painting, and a doggie costume contest.  All ages and dog breeds must be sociable and well behaved.  Owners must have proof of current rabies vaccination and a County license tag.
